Description to Königssee:
In the picturesque Berchtesgaden we drive over that Rossfeld- panorama street where we have a marvellous outlook during beautiful weather onto the Bavarian alps. Then we passes by the Obersalzberg, where the leaders of the third parties, had their summer residences, to the picturesque Königsee imbedded into the Berchtesgadner mountain world. This Bavaria lake is 192 m deep and moves each into his spell with its emerald-green water. Here can we have a beautiful forest walk to the „-painter angle" , from where we have a look to St. Bartolomä. We also can have a boat trip to St. Bartolomä, directly to the foot of the Watzmanns who was the hunt seat of the bayr. dukes and of kings. After the boat trip with approx. 35 minutes, the boat stops before a big cliff and one of the boatswains plays a melody that reverberates from the mountain on a wing horn or a trumpet, the famous „Echo vom Königsee“. After a short stay in the excite St. Bartolomä, where you can eat fres caught fish, it goes with the boat again to the jetty at the other bank and with the bus to Salzburg.
